Gill Sans has just the right amount of character to be appropriate for the subject of my type specimen booklet, the cartoon programming block Toonami. Some general ideas were laid out for the booklet in InDesign once the typeface was chosen and from that point I enjoyed stringing together textures and scenes with type, trying to get as much creative mileage out of the typeface and its different weights as I could.
